Ellis Hall to Close for 800000 Renovation at Ohio University

Ellis Hall, one of Ohio University’s oldest and largest classroom buildings, will close for a year for an $800,000 interior renovation. President Vernon R. Alden cited safety and enrollment pressures, with U.S. Space Arts projects and gym conversions contributing to the decision. Work begins late summer, financed by internal funds with hopes for later state reimbursement.
