Nelsonville and Logan lodges united for a patriotic public square program detailing the history of the American Flag. Logan High School band, Logan and Nelsonville Scouts, and a color guard of three Scouts participated. Joe Schrader delivered the Flag Day oration as the crowd joined in singing America.

Ruth Daugherty was installed president, Doris Pergrin vice president, Betsy Shumaker secretary, Beatrice Adamson secretary, and Helen Oakley treasurer. retiring president Pergrin received a gift. A July picnic was planned. a kitchen shower honored Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wolfe. Circle 5 WSCS postponed its meeting.
