Hearing Nixed For Christman In Athens County

In Athens Ohio June 13 1973 a Common Pleas Court entry canceled a Thursday hearing on charges against suspended Athens County School Superintendent George Christman. The injunction request sought to halt his May 12 suspension by the County Board of Education. The board’s subsequent re suspension on Saturday prompted by state guidelines may restart the investigation process and keep Christman off duty with acting superintendent Andy Ransom continuing duties.
