Amesville Ohio June 12 Mr E G Jennings owner of the Jennings coal and coke property at Utley arrived on the ground yesterday and today work started on the rebuilding of the old railroad line to Curtis Junction to join with the present Black Diamond railroad. Men common laborers are being paid 5 per day for this work and Frank Linscott the foreman is paid 7 per day. It is reported here that Mr Jennings plans to build a track from his mine to the main line of the B and O railroad at Stewart but this report could not be verified.
