Dorchester Family Found Dead In Boston Home

Seven members of the George T. O Leary family were found dead at their Dorchester home. Police say Mrs O Leary and the children died from gunshot wounds while the father died by his own hand according to the medical examiner.

Twenty Inhale Chlorine Gas At Pool Disaster

Twenty youths were treated at a Parkersburg hospital after inhaling chlorine gas at a Belpre Ohio pool. Pool manager Becky Redmond said liquid chlorine leaked from a maintenance room tank and turned to gas as wind carried it toward the pool area.

Axis Sally Gillars Receives Ohio Wesleyan BA Degree

Mildred Elizabeth Gillars, known as Axis Sally for WWII broadcasts from Berlin, earned a bachelor of arts from Ohio Wesleyan University. A 72 year old former student from 1918 to 1922, she did not finish her degree then, later taught music at Our Lady of Bethlehem School in a Columbus suburb since 1960.
