Grandparents Share Quiet Strength in Child Rearing
A letter to Dr. Crane extols grandparents for their calm affection and time to spare. Bobby and Nancy, grandchildren, adore their grandfather who tells stories and helps with chores. The piece contrasts grandparent steadiness with busy parents and suggests balanced spoiling as normal.
