Prosecutor Answers Murder Case Petition
Athens County Common Pleas Court heard a petition to vacate a second degree murder sentence of Frank Denver Fore, who killed his wife Isabel on July 11, 1966. Prosecutor Homer Gall Jr. argued Fore had capable counsel and that the defendant had requested an examination at Lima State Hospital, which the state accommodated. The court record shows no required hospital report, and Gall urged Judge John W Bolin to deny the hearing and dismiss the petition as lacking merit.
