Alternative bus plan eyed for Mulligan Longview route
Officials consider charging a fee for the Mulligan Road to Longview Heights Road summer buses to fund a service that would otherwise be free at the city pool. The experimental route, added three months ago, will be cut back starting June 21 due to budgeting gaps. Councilman Jerry Adams says costs exceed the city’s set funds by about 3000 dollars and the Transportation Committee is evaluating options.
