Winters Sees Great Progress and Prosperity Century Speech
Dr. Carl 8 Winters, pastor of Oak Park Illinois, told Athens High School graduates that the coming century offers vast progress and prosperity but must be built on character and reverence for God. He outlined four steps: win the war, keep ideals, build a new world, and establish a peaceful international order. He urged realism about war damage and urged education and churches to foster ideas and ideals for life.
