Omaha shooting Ends With Ex-Convict's Death
A shotgun wielding ex convict killed a policeman and wounded eight officers and two civilians before emerging from a burning rooming house on Omaha’s Near North Side and was shot to death. Police said Elza Carr Jr. aged 33 held officers at bay for more than four hours.
