Point Pleasant man killed as brother-in-law faces murder charge
In Point Pleasant West Virginia Lewis Dale Bates 29 was shot in the living room of the Jones home by James Edward Jones 33 of Hogsett. Jones told police he borrowed a shotgun to hunt groundhogs and fired after Bates allegedly grabbed witness Mrs Hannelore Crump. Bates died instantly and Jones is jailed on a murder charge.
