New Rentals Considered By Monticello Village
Monticello Village managers study renting two more apartments to Athens County for housing children from the county home. County commissioners adopt a resolution authorizing the Children Services Agency to negotiate the arrangement with Monticello to house girls on Hastings Road, at about 100 dollars monthly rent, with the difference paid by agency funds. Last month two apartments were rented to house boys from Harmony Road. Both properties are slated for demolition due to Appalachian Highway work.
