Two Injured In Single Vehicle Radford Road Crash
A Saturday Radford Road crash left two people hurt. Jonathan Zesiger 31 of Athens drove a Ford Explorer off the roadway then rolled onto its top after striking a mailbox and a utility pole. Zesiger and a child were taken to area hospitals with non incapacitating injuries. The crash closed the road for about an hour as troopers investigated.

Bounty on the Bricks tickets sell out in hours in Athens
The Athens Foundation reports Bounty on the Bricks, a farm to table fundraiser benefiting the Southeast Ohio Regional Food Bank, sold out within seven hours on Monday. The third annual Aug 8 event at Court Street tables raised last year around 75 thousand dollars and aims for 100 thousand this year with 375 seats at 75 dollars each. A waiting list is available and a separate Bounty Beyond the Bricks auction launches July 20 with 10 to 12 dinner packages.
