Hocking County commissioners voted to solicit bids from a single insurer for all county owned buildings after noting varied premiums among firms. The move followed talks with prosecutor Veidt and concerns raised by Hide-A-Way Hills residents about subdivision development and bridge safety near Route 93. The panel also approved a $4,142.05 bill batch, extended real estate tax deadlines, and heard updates on Southeast Emergency Medical Service plans and related questions.
