Explosion Shatters Middleport Home Injuring Mother and Two Children

A Middleport home on Broadway and Stephen exploded injuring a mother Mrs Thomas Wyatt and her children Deborah aged 3 and Stephen 10 months. The blast damaged the six room house and scattered wall debris. Officials from Ohio Fuel Gas Co and local police conducted tests up to 400 feet to determine cause, with faulty appliance suspected.
