Green tinted sunglasses favored for military use and glare protection
Green lenses emerged as the Army and Navy’s top choice for preserving natural vision while shielding GI eyes from infrared heat and ultraviolet rays. When heat is not the main concern, gray shades offer a satisfactory alternative. Glasses should be flaw free to prevent vision obstruction, verified by a reliable optical shop or a quality lens label. Junior Choir practice at First Christian Church is Saturday at 1 p.m. for Children’s Day, inviting six year olds and older.
