Athens High School Sees 1935 Class Installed at Assembly
The class of 1935 was officially installed as the senior class at Athens High School during the annual Senior Assembly. John Meister presided as president, with musical selections and readings including a class history from Ferne Rowland and reminiscences by Dolores Henderson. The 1935 class bade farewell with humor and dignity, passing the Senior Keys to the juniors and pledging respect for lower classes. The event drew students, parents, and friends.

Alumni return for commencement as college dances unfold. Delta Tau Delta hosts a greenhouse themed spring dance at Athens Country Club with Hollywood favors and etched program. Beta Theta Pi barn dance on South Congress features hay ride and over fifty couples. Violet Dance by Zeta Tau Alpha draws sixty to eighty couples at the 77 Club with chaperons. Chi Omega boat dance planned for Gallipolis on the Ohio River with noted hostesses. Tau Kappa Epsilon also hosting a hard times dance tonight.
