Terrazzo floors stairways ground and polished by an Indianapolis firm. Electrical fixtures purchased ready for install. Front sidewalk laid and detour walks removed to front. Theater will be rushed to early completion once front is finished. Traffic Officer Farbearn aided by Sheriff McNaghten. Girl returned to Lancaster the same evening by officials and relatives.

Third Offense Charged in Logan Liquor Case
William J. Beavers was arrested near Mound Crossing and arraigned on a possession third offense charge. He pled not guilty and a preliminary hearing was set for Friday. Previously fined $300 in Pleasantville and Baltimore for similar offenses and $300 for transporting liquor. Fairfield county records also note an 1923 arrest by Hocking county officials.

Local pastor W cared for after hospital operation
Logan July 29 Rev T C Harper pastor of United Brethren church underwent surgery at Cherrington hospital for chronic appendicitis. He has faced ministerial duties for weeks with help from distant colleagues and officials report his condition is favorable. Logan July 29 Sheriff Harley McNabb Perry county and two deputies searched Logan for three prisoners who escaped from Perry county jail by sawing through a window. The escapees are two white men and a negro.

Girl in case caught here at Logan bus station
Opal Meadow 12 of Pleasantville was apprehended at the union bus station Tuesday evening as she alighted from a bus. Officials had word she was headed here and Chief Steward met her at the station. She is the girl said to have left home with Mike Abood who was arrested.
