William Vear Lane 43 Pomeroy Route 3 is ordered transferred to Lima State Hospital for sanity examination after pleading guilty and then not guilty to first degree murder in connected case. The July 1 shotgun killing of Edward Lee Tucker 38 is the alleged crime. James B. O'Brien named as Lane’s attorney for removal proceedings.

Grange Holds Inspection and Plans Meigs County Fair Exhibit
POMEROY C N Jones county deputy led the annual inspection as Ches ter Grange met at the hall with Harry Holter master.
