Where The Waters Mingle
General John McCausland, buried on a hill above Henderson at the Kanawha River farm, led Confederate forces from Virginia during the Civil War. He recalled Chambersburg's burning after demanding gold or cash as tribute and later returned to farming, living near Point Pleasant and engaging in local politics. Seventeen members attended a Loyal Daughters Class picnic in Glouster Memorial Park, while baseball nostalgia notes on short pants recall the era.
