Gallipolis Debates Costly New Municipal Building

Gallipolis officials and American Legion planners weigh options for a new city building after WPA cost constraints. If outside skilled labor is needed, the city may owe about 16 000 dollars beyond initial 4 000 contributions from the city and legion. Alternatives include remodeling the present structure or issuing a 10 000 dollar bond to cover added costs.
