Sea Serpent Taken From Lake Erie by Two Men
In Sandusky Bay two Cincinnati cement salesmen hauled an 18 foot snake from Lake Erie after a fishing trip. Harold L. Madison of the Cleveland Museum offered that it was a tropical boa constrictor possibly, noting size and water traits. The animal, weighing about 100 pounds, sparked a crowd of thousands and prompted theories it escaped from a zoo or was released, with authorities debating its origin among boas or a python.
