School Board appoints Robert Dishong to vacant seat

The Federal Hocking School Board voted 3 to 1 to appoint Robert Dishong to a new voting seat after an executive session of over three hours. Dishong, Amesville area resident and former seven-year board member, was sworn in as the new member during a reconvened public meeting. The budget hearing preceded approval of a 109000 deficit, a rise from the earlier 80000 estimate, with clerk Richard Koker noting possible miscalculation and an $8000 carryover from 1972.
