Twenty six enlisted men and two officers of the 166th Infantry Headquarters Company Ohio National Guard returned to Athens after a one day summer field training at Camp Perry. The unit teamed with about 3,500 guardsmen statewide. The Athens officers served in key roles during the drills and a full day sham battle tested rear line communications. A special drill for the Athens company is set for July 27 at the Armory with white shirts and dress uniforms for a company photograph.
