County Roads Repair Efforts Underway in the County
County Engineer Harry Dust reports about 40 percent of the summer repair program completed. Projects include large bridge work, ditching on multiple roads, widening concrete bridges, and sealing plans amid funding concerns for 10 miles of additional blacktop. A new low truss bridge on County Rd 85 is due by early August. A B&O warning alerts children to stay off the trestle in west Athens.
