Injunction Planned to Halt Mt Vernon Jefferson Paving
Point Pleasant attorney J G F Johnson said he will file next week an injunction on behalf of about 50 area residents to stop the Mt Vernon Ave and Jefferson Blvd paving project. He argues the act is unconstitutional and that the special assessment is out of proportion to benefits, among other legal objections. The suit follows a city council approval of the Jones and McNeill bid for the two streets.
