In Logan the grand jury may meet downtown but the actual jury room is a dry room for pigeons. Jurors reach it via a dark stairs near the sheriff’s office. windows bring in birds that stay near public buildings. Officials provide better quarters in the county commissioners’ offices on the third floor with air conditioning, though jurors’ frequent use disrupts Mrs. Fanchion Mount’s workday.
