Sewage Plan Receives Council Cost Estimate
The Athens Ohio council authorized engineer B F Hatch of Burgess and Niple to prepare a preliminary cost estimate for a separate storm sewer system. The firm had proposed design work on sanitary systems and disposal, noting separate storm sewers could save on pipe sizes and overall costs. A full plan would require federal funding and possible bond action, with town wide implications.
