Cleveland July 16 Senator George H. Bender said a firm decision will come in days on whether to submit the Ohio reapportionment amendment this year or in 1931. He has over 340000 petitions filed against the 240000 threshold and advisers urge delaying until after the next session due to rural opposition.
Canton July 16 U P Jimmy Romeo was arrested after a bank messenger robbery netted about 60000 in loot. Charles Williams and Charles Tish were involved. a Cleveland man was shot and the officer N R Ribslett fired after being shot. Others escaped with the loot.
William Huffman 35 alleged to have escaped Ohio State Penitentiary in 1919 was arrested in New York charged with fugitive from justice and Sullivan Law violation. Police say he headed a thieves gang that robbed wealthy men and lured victims by posing as a businessman and golf with them. Detectives found 20 suits, golf clubs, and a loaded revolver in his Breton Hall Hotel room.
Athens police arrested taxi driver Russell Lowry this morning on reckless driving charges. He is to be arraigned in Mayor fl. 8 Wood's court at 7 o'clock tonight.

Bellefontaine July 16 The grand jury may convene to hear blackmail charges against Rev Frank KE Reddick 42 pastor of the Huntsville Methodist Church County Prosecutor Middleton said Reddick was arraigned at night court pleaded guilty and bonded over to the grand jury under 16000 He is accused of sending threatening letters to Frank and Charles Howard former parishioners The minister said he could not explain the impulse and called it a mental slip The Howards and Reddick had a feud after the execution of Dr James Howard Snook of Columbus for the murder of Theora Hix
