Albany Camp Meeting Draws Three Thousand Visitors
From July 4 to 20th Albany hosted a large camp meeting in Lee township drawing crowds from Meigs and Vinton counties. An estimated three thousand people attended the event near Albany, with music by the Albany and Marshfield bands and a 6 pound cannon used to signal morning services.
