OU donor faces protest over race related email
Ohio University faces student and faculty pressure after donor Steven Schoonover advised officials to "play the race card" amid a $1.2 million bid for a new residence for President Roderick McDavis. More than 200 signed a petition urging his removal from the foundation board and renaming a campus building. The email, calling demonstrators "loud mouths" and suggesting they lack donations, prompted calls for dialogue and scrutiny of trustees.
