Court upholds conviction of mother in newborn twins death
Lindsey Lowe of Hendersonville had her first degree murder and aggravated child abuse convictions upheld by the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals for the 2011 smothering deaths of her infant twins. The court rejected an appeal claiming rights violations and improper confession evidence. Lowe remains imprisoned with at least 51 years to serve. her defense plans to appeal to the Tennessee Supreme Court.
