Expensive Pelts Refused Air Travel
Cape Town South Africa The pelts of mink may become one of the most costly coats for women but South African Airways will not airfreight them Transport Minister Ben Schoeman told Parliament. He said mink give off an offensive odor that can penetrate passenger baggage and other cargo such as foodstuffs and that air holds on some aircraft circulate into the cabin making air transport of animals a selective matter.

Letters Urge Dismissal of Athens State Hospital Staff
Unsigned letters asking for four staff dismissals were received by Athens State Hospital officials and state mental hygiene leaders.
