Tax Deadline Set For Jume Taxes In Ohio

County Treasurer Ed Lasch announced the final payment date for Jume taxes is July 2 amid clarifications of an extension. He notes June taxes are due by June 2 and the July extension runs to July 3, not from that date, to avoid ongoing confusion. The issue arose after commissioners tabled an extension request and Lasch referenced past practice of keeping books open to July 20 while state law requires open books through June 20 for auditor settlements. Payments will be accepted by the treasurer’s office on Sunday due to the final day landing on a weekend.
