AKRON Ohio AP A vice president of the Goodyear local of the United Rubber Workers denied reports the union might call 22000 Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co workers to join a strike rounding out its 12th week Earl L Givens said the reports were far from the truth. They were circulated after a Local 2 meeting at the armory here Sunday when 1500 members gave a vote of confidence to bargaining representatives.
