The Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce board met at the chamber office Tuesday night under president O C Hall. They reviewed the membership dues structure in preparation for a coordinated membership drive led by committee chair Kathryn Moore.
The chamber plans August outreach to all businesses and professionals not yet members. An information packet outlines how the chamber operates and its 18 months of activities. Emphasis now on industry readiness, schools, recreation, churches, and shopping districts to lure new growth. Krodel Park improvement cited as a typical chamber initiated project.
Alexander McCausland files a 52 page civil action through attorney S D Littlepage to settle his parents estate against executor Bright McCausland and Bright McCausland individually. Grandsons of Gen John McCausland the suit seeks an accounting and division of the estate between plaintiff and defendant.
Walter Curtis McDaniel of Middleton was ordered to pay 75 dollars monthly on a non support charge after arraignment before Justice A. M. Goodwin. Bobby V.
