Vocational Agriculture Exhibit Rules for Athens County Fair
All-day vocational agriculture students in 1938-39 Athens County may enter. entries close Monday noon August 21. Each exhibitor may enter up to two items per class. entries must be on official blanks signed by the school’s vocational agriculture teacher. Animals must be exhibited in designated space or premiums are withheld. All exhibitors receive free passes. ribbons awarded for designated places. Exhibits must be from regular projects and filed with the State Supervisor of vocational agriculture. Livestock and poultry are supervised. exhibits must be in place by noon August 22 and livestock released August 25. Premiums paid only if animals are shown by exhibitor or authorized person and judged worthy. Exhibitors must feed and care for their animals. judging date to be announced.

Barley Harvest Begins on 100000 Acres near Tulare
