Flight in a Cloud of Fury Ends in Pontiac Plane Crash
Commercial pilot Marty Anderson fought to control a taxiing plane when passenger Charles Frechette suddenly attacked with a hammer. The craft crashed near the Pontiac State Hospital. Anderson survived with skull fractures while Frechette, accused of assault with intent to murder, was jailed after a sanity evaluation.
