Bowman Gray chairman of the board of the R J Reynolds Tobacco Company died aboard ship Sunday after a heart attack. Gray, 61, had been with the Reynolds Company for over four decades.

In Los Angeles a 17 year old girl, Catherine Parke, admitted shooting a 16 year old man outside her bathroom window early today. Police said the motive was the intruder’s peeping act and the shooter claimed fear for her safety.
