Three Alarms Answered By Middleport Volunteers
Middleport Volunteer Fire Department responded to three medical calls in 16 hours. Howard Circle suffered a heart attack and was moved to Holzer Hospital after transport to Pomeroy. John Lemley was treated for paralysis at Coal Street, Pomeroy. Two fire calls followed: paraffin fire at Harlan Klees home and a motor burnout at the Yellow Jacket Club.
