New York July 3 officials of the Industrial Relations Committee of the Inter Church World Movement deny the steel strike report caused disruption of support by financiers. The committee will publish a summary soon while asserting many wealthy men served on the executive committee.
John Richards aged 68 died suddenly at 6 oclock Thursday evening at his daughter Mrs Fred Brothers home near Morgansville He was found unconscious in the yard and death was due to paralysis The article notes fumes from a room heating gas grate of English invention condensed in water filled tanks.
Lewis Washington, colored, fined by Mayor Roush for operating an automobile while intoxicated and wrecking Ed C. Berry’s car, was freed from county jail late Friday after friends paid $103.20. The Berry vehicle sustained heavy damage when it plunged into an eleven foot ditch. Washington pleaded guilty.

County commissioners met Nelsonville leaders Friday to discuss reclaim of a state road truck lent to the city. Nelsonville needs the vehicle to shore up the levee, but the state now requires its return. Officials promised to restore the truck when released by state authorities.
In Lima probate court Drs Henry and J R Sprague examined Ross Howard, killer of Mr and Mrs Lewis Howard of Ames township. Judge Phil Lips committed him to the Lima state hospital for the criminal insane. Sheriff Parker will transport Howard to the institution early Monday. Howard showed no emotion in court and feared only the electric chair. relatives reported prior insanity in France with months in a hospital according to army physicians.
Airer records show Athens County deed business totaling $1,974,143.73 with 391 agricultural land conveyances covering 20 456 acres and 723 city town and village lot deeds. Mortgages totalled $1,808,161 with 658 loans including 171 agricultural and 381 town properties and cancellations totaling $614,124.16.
The state hospital marked its Fourth of July event on the lawn with a clown named Harvey an Uncle Sam and staff members joining in. Mrs Margaret Elizabeth Hunter aged 62 passed away at her home after illness with Brights disease. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 2 PM at the residence with burial in the Hunter Cemetery. Surviving are her husband and a son. Nathan Smith of remains unreadable.
