York School Board defers stadium project action
York Local Board of Education took no action on bids for the Buchtel stadium project. Schaeffer Nadalin submitted alternate bids and the board retained Blum Jamison Sedeen as architects. The panel planned to apply tax funds to a power bill and reviewed utility impacts on next year’s budget. The board also approved small vendor payments and announced 17 teaching vacancies with 150 applications. Band practice periods were set for late summer.
