Muskingum Dams Project Under Rapid Construction
Two thousand workers are on the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Project as 11 of 14 dams move forward on the $34,000,000 program. Completion is about two years away with ongoing earthwork, a 600 foot tunnel, and a big housing impact in local areas. Tappan Dam in Harrison County started last January with 137000 cubic yards of earth removed.
