Miss Jane Lou Frame bride-elect of July 8 was feted by Mrs Hayden A McCaskill and her daughter at a dessert bridge and kitchen shower hosted at the McCaskill home on Tuesday night. The West Side Garden Club held its final season meeting with a 1 PM luncheon at Cottage Tea House attended by 16 members. Guest speaker Mrs. Thomas M. Wolfe, president of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, spoke on Raising Perennials and showed flowers from her Utah Place garden.

Members of the Cotillion Club and guests spent Sunday at Buckeye Lake Park with a 6 pm supper, boating 6 to 9 pm, and dancing 9 to midnight to Freddie Shafer's All-Girl band at Lake Breeze Pier. About 20 couples attended and a Lake Hope trip may follow.

Athens guests visit for week and travels to Dallas

They will meet Mrs E G Burt in Cincinnati then travel to Dallas where she will visit her son William Burt a McBee division manager. Mr and Mrs William Hixson have moved from 115 Mill Street to a new Hastings Addition home. Mr Homer Baird of 30 Elmwood Place has recovered from his illness.
