Funeral at 2 pm Friday at the Methodist Church with Knights Templar in charge. Burial in Mound Hill Cemetery. Born Pomeroy son of late Hiram L Sibley judge. Marietta College graduate in same class as Charles G Dawes.

Richard Washburn Child, 54, attorney, writer, and former ambassador to Italy, died at his home in New York from pneumonia. He was appointed ambassador by President Karding. Funeral services planned for Saturday with burial in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Treasury said it located a bootleg establishment in New York responsible for numerous alcohol deaths in and around Glovereville, N. J. The Alcohol Tax Unit identified a ring disposing of washed rubbing alcohol. The case is under intensive investigation.
Columbus January 31 Lee B Palmer of Pataskala was reelected president of the Ohio Wool Growers Association for his seventeenth consecutive term at the group’s meeting held here yesterday.

Herbert Benjamin of New York City, representative of the National Congress for Unemployment and Social Insurance, was forcibly ejected from the House Ways and Means Committee room in Washington after vociferously criticizing the President and social security legislation. He demanded more time to express bitterness against the program, but Chairman Doughton ruled he had no right to continue. Lieutenant H. Crook and a plain clothes detective removed him. Benjamin was held briefly at the capitol police station and released.
Gatewood Booten aged 33 was found asphyxiated last night in a Miami rooming house. His mother Mrs Ira W Booten, then in Gallipolis, was informed. Details of the tragedy were not available.
