Mystery Bird Intrigues Crestline Community
A strange 14 inch bird resembling a bittern mystifies Crestline residents and A H Wil son by emitting a booming tone instead of chirps. Experts cannot identify it as yet. A separate note mentions a new lightplane with a cruising speed of 80 to 90 mph and landing speed under 35 mph.
