Ohio suspended federal environmental limits on high sulfur coal amid worsening energy shortages. Gov. Fire kills mother and two sons in South Canaan home

A mother Linda Berry aged 31 and her two sons Gabriel 4 and Daniel 9 months died in a South Canaan Road farmhouse fire. John Berry escaped after going downstairs to check lights around 4 am. Fire officials said flames trapped the family as neighbors and multiple volunteer departments fought the blaze. The state fire marshal may investigate with arson not suspected. the Berrys were remodeling the two story home near the South Canaan Church.
