Banquet Foods Eyes Purchase of Ralston Plant in Wellston
Banquet Foods Corp announced it is negotiating to buy the Ralston Purina Co plant in Wellston. The plant, closed months ago and used as a distribution point, could become a major Banquet manufacturing center if terms are approved by both boards. Some former Ralston employees are retained. Banquet representatives are surveying the facility.

Nelsonville Public Library added 26 new volumes with 11 fiction titles and 15 non fiction works. The books will be placed on reserve Friday and may be checked out starting Monday.
