Meigs County Relief Funds Hampered by Revenue Gaps
Meigs County faces a shortfall for January relief with no local revenue source. Relief Director Corradini explains gas tax diversion requires March funds, while a resolution to divert is shelved. A relief investigator is to be appointed, pending State Relief Commission confirmation. CWA complaints lead to two terminations amid quota cuts. Veterans are considered first but must have no other means of support.
