East affairs tense as Turkey readies large force

In the past week Turkey refuses England and Russia overtures on province disputes. Russia signals Europe must act as demands are rejected. Turkey may mobilize 500000 troops within a month and fortifications rise at the Bosporus and Hellespont with a three squadron fleet deployed at Bosporus Gallipoli and Crete and twelve infantry regiments shipped to Crete.
